That is a good answer, Tom. Perhaps we all decide that way. I have lost several this year, though not nearly as many as others. I am deciding on what to replace by its performance in my garden as well as my passion for that particular iris. I feel a little mean not replacing each one I lost and just wondered how others made their decisions.
