Mmm sounds great, Ken. Think I'll drag out the big ol' soup pot this weekend, too.
We make Stone Soup at the school out of our harvest from the kids' garden each year before the holidays. Each grade has their own bed, so they all contribute some thing to the soup, the cafeteria ladies cook it up for us, and everyone has some soup for lunch on the last day of school before the holidays. The teachers all tell the kids the Stone Soup story before lunch, and it's a really neat holiday event, in its 3rd year now.
