First, you type in these characters exactly as you see them here:

Then you paste in the actual url after those characters, like this:

Now, close it off with another quotation mark and a back-facing square bracket, like this:
[url="http://www.beardedirisflowers.com/Thomas_Johnson_Introductions/WHY_BE_NORMAL"]
Next, type in the name you want to be seen. In this case, it is Why Be Normal:
