We all have lists of irises we want to have. I have lists of my lists. But when I think about the iris I'd like to have the very most, it is a Blyth Seedling - (I think the # is V1591). I saw it on Facebook. What's your #1?

Jan, if I HAD to decide on ONLY ONE..... I would have to breath into a paper bag! I have a top twenty and when I look at them I love them best for different reasons..... yes, best. I will enjoy watching what others choose.

Oh Jan that seedling is gorgeous!!! But how does one choose a single iris they want most? I'll have to think on that for a bit!

Yes, Patchwork Puzzle is my #2, Greg - and probably should be my #1 because it is accessible, since it's been introduced! (Maybe seedlings shouldn't count? Will we ever have a chance to buy it?)

Please post a picture of your favorite.
That seedling of Kent's is gorgeous!

Let's not get tooooo serious about this. It's a game. Which one makes you catch your breath? The most? Today. Post a picture of it.

Imagine that Santa said you could pick just one new iris for your Christmas present. Out of all the ones you're
salivating over.

Ok, I'll bite, if it's just for today I can deal with that... Hilarious!

My most wanted (at least for today) is Duplication

It is a luminata, with a pronounced sweet fragrance and is a re-bloomer!!!

I would want to pick one from the 2015 intros of Keppel, Ghio, Blyth, Black or T. Johnson. I haven't seen them yet. Years ago my sweet Wife ordered Beverly Sills for me for Christmas one year.

Well, the first dozen, or so on my list are impossible to add pictures of, as, as far as I know...there aren't any! That brings me to this one:

Zuni (Ayers 1931)
very, very similar to "Indian Chief", another Ayers introduction.
But, I really suppose you're thinking of more "modern" irises, so, Zuni Echo (Blyth 1986), a BB, is up pretty far on my list. it "sounds" very nice (haven't seen a picture of that one ,either !).
But that one's getting a little "long in the tooth", also, I guess! So , sticking with the "Zuni" theme, there's an SDB from 2012, Zuni Thundercloud, that's up towards the top of the list, as well.

Woops, I miss understood, we're supposed to choose one that we don't have, but I have Super Hero, so I guess that doesn't count, now I have to go look at my wish list.
