Yes! I tried some clusiana last year in my rock garden--

became my sudden favorite tulips because they are dang cute, withstand our winds well, and they don't have big-excessive tulip foliage that annoys me so much while it dies. I planted a bunch more this year, straight species and a few other varieties I don't remember at the moment.
