I think it's almost impossible to find the real clone. I spent a long time to find description in books and old catalogues. Now I have many pictures (and plants) of different "Atro's". (with 'Atropurpureum')
Another Sempervivum is known labelled 'Violaceum' (S. tectorum violaceum). It's a bluish beauty - I love them
I got this one from Arends nursery. I was working there 1,5 years. 'Alpha', 'Beta', 'Gamma' and "Ronsdorfer beauties" was breeded there.
