Oh poo! I just lost a whole post .... I hate when that happens.
Elaine - My large pink blooming brug looks very much like yours. I bet it is Frosty Pink.
JT - I have heard that MEM does produce very large blooms. I actually had that brug years ago. Unfortunately, that was before I realized that you can not grow brugs in the ground here in FL (or at least not in my yard).
Gita - Your Dr. Seuss does resemble my yellow-gold-orangish brug, so you may be right in the ID of mine. Thank you.
Your Dr. Seuss is amazing! WOW! That's what I'd like to see on mine. Beautiful!!!!
I have never seen or heard of anyone growing them like you do. Very impressive! You are one of the few people I know who has success year after year when bringing them inside for the Winter. And I am in awe of all of your rooted cuttings! What a set-up you have there! You've got it down to a science. How many different cultivars do you grow?
I have all of my brugs growing in 18 gallon plastic bins. I don't know if that is big enough or I need to go bigger, but they all appear to be full of roots in those bins and seem quite healthy. Or so I believe they are.....
