Thanks. Not many trees. Our yard had a total of 2 trees when we moved in and both had to be removed. The one in front yard I think was a gum tree and it had been hit by lightning and the other in the back yard was a holly tree with thorns. Neither very useful. Last year I grew a red castor bean tree from seed that was great I don't believe it will come back with all the frost we have had but I do have alot of seeds to start another one. I love brugs and have or had some last year. I need to learn how to take cuttings and overwinter them. I hope they come back this year but only time will tell. I am looking for info on them I know they need alot of water and fertilizer when blooming and we love them. I am looking for source for some brugs. Any ideas? Working on a shoestring budget. Every payday which is bi weekly I allow myself 20 bucks for plants. Not much considering how much they can cost. So I hit up the local Ace Hardware and get there buck throw away plants that I nurse back to health. We did buy 3 queen palms but I don't know if they will make it thru this winter. Again only time will tell. I love plants that attract hummingbirds and butterflys and that smell really good. I also have a couple of small water gardens that hopefully this year I will be improving.
