Muscari bulbs are a winter dream! The "hair" which is actually the leaves, make the pots have a winter purpose! Filled with outreaching "hair" and eventually blooming spikes appear! For several years I did not know what this plant was! I kept saying to friends, I have to find out what this "hair" plant is! They are one of my favorites because they always put on a performance when other bulbs and plants are asleep for the winter. Who would not like the early splash of color they provide as well. Such an easy, reliable, and fast multiplying bloomer! The white, pink, and yellow are on my list for next year! Thanks for sharing your first encounter, Greene.
