Maybe this is a stupid question.......... but the other day I found an ad on Facebook that was put there by eBay.com and it was a picture of my plants I have for sale on eBay but when you clicked on it they were advertising a plant of another seller.
I do not know if they have small print someplace saying they can do it but I do know some of my photos are watermarked in different ways. I never thought any picture I had was ever good enough for anyone to use it other than me. I do not know the normal procedure about pictures and that is what I am asking...is there an unwritten rule or what? (I mean on the internet) I do not know who to ask other than you people that I trust will give me an honest answer.
FYI:
I contacted them and told them not to advertise another seller's plant (which was the same plant but a mature hanging basket) with my picture of starter plants. They took the information and I am waiting to hear what they are going to say about my complaint. I would guess somewhere in their small print (which I did not read) there is something to cover them when they do this sort of thing.
