Well, I didn't see anything there that jumped out at me as a match, but good to know for an ID of trees the flower and the leaf color and change of leaf color would be a big help in getting ID. Of course a close up of the leaves would be helpful too, but then I guess while you're taking pictures in the front yard of a stranger ringing the doorbell and asking what the tree is might also help.
