Bonnie - I wonder if that does make a difference. My SDB rhizomes from Stout, out of Oklahoma, are growing sooooo much faster here than the ones I have gotten from vendors in the PNW and northern Mid-West. Teagan, Jewelers Art, Flaming Lips and Quench have tripled in increases in the last 4 months. Especially Teagan.

I have so many T's that I can't wait to bloom. Said it before - but it will be harder if we do the alphabet again next winter!

Of my bloomed, my choice today will be Tanzanian Tangerine, a nice cheery orange plicata.
