Using the 2 panels works very well, I just train the plants up between them and through the spaces. When I need extra support I just use a piece of household wiring, 14 gauge, with the insulation still on it. It's easy to bend hoops and hooks as well as tying the panels together. It will last forever and can be reused year after year. I paint my panels with brown Rust-Oleum' so they will last longer and they are cleaner to handle. When I move (every year) the set up, all I have to do is dig 2 post holes 2' deep, and drop it in. In the garden the holes are easy to dig and I figure there is a benefit to punching holes in the clay pan. I use lobster mulch and Epsom salt on my tomatoes and plant basal between the plants and onions near by. In spite of only giving surface water I still once in awhile get some blight, but still get plenty of fruit.
