Ceci - I enjoyed your photos! You get some really beautiful hummingbirds there! How many different species of hummingbirds are known in your region?

I only see hummingbirds in Winter. I host them from late Fall through early Spring here along the east coast of Central Florida. The only species I seem to be able to attract to my yard for the Winter are the Ruby-throated hummingbirds. I did have the good fortune to see a Rufous for about a day and a half, but she was just here for a pit-stop to use my feeder and then she headed out to wherever she was going.

I had a bander come to my yard recently to band the 3 male Ruby-throated hummingbirds that I am hosting this Winter. They were also color-marked on their head with pink fabric paint so that I can tell if I only have those 3 or if there are more. It appears for now, I just have those 3 "boys".
