I would analyze the location outside..orientation of the sun for the most part of the day..is it more full sun south facing, or is there a nice west-east light. North side is rather weak, but maybe good for Dracaena's, pothos and money tree.

And best of all, the temperature, particularly the overnight temperatures. I usually try to hold it till I see temps go more stable 50F and higher.

For orchids, would need to know what type it is. Some may require more full sun, some shaded bright area, and again temperature prevailing in your area.
