DD, I agree about the enviroturf; I've never planted a fescue blend that did well here.
Alan, I had perennial rye in the kitty habitat and guess what? It sprouted during the cool period we had a few weeks back - and then died in this heat. So... I don't know if I'll have to reseed or if it might rise from the dead again.
