Well -- waddya know -- I have a Louisiana Black Gamecock!! Cool!! It takes care of itself -- lives in a shady low spot on the property -- and blooms just about the time that my TB's are finishing up. The root system is interesting -- it *travels* -- that's the only way I can describe it. Long long long segmented rhizomes (are they called rhizomes?) and they grow leaves and bloom stalks at the end of the last segment. Is that how yours behaves Celia?

Those Spurias are real cute. Are they small?

Yeah Rob -- I'm technically challenged. Every time I have to learn a new phone or computer or TV or e-book -- it takes me forever to get comfortable with it. I have anxiety attacks over it!! Blinking
Thoughts become things -- choose the good ones. (www.tut.com)
