Marilyn, Buddy is our 4th golden. My husband chose the breed for our son, family dog plus we live on the river. Even though they tend to dig(NOT in the flower beds)they are respectful of garden paths. Easy learners and full of love. I'm going to give him the job of watching the mother bulb!
