No, I don't think so. My amaryllis bulbs are quite a few years old and this is the first time any have been short. Mine did get pretty badly touched by freeze this fall (we had a sudden really bad drop in temp) so I'm thinking maybe that had something to do with it? Did yours get frozen or badly frosted?
