I'm back from the orchid meeting ribbonless but at least I tried. I have to get caught up on some bloomers:
First is a new one and I am now up to date on the name : (Oncidopsis [Oip.] Yokara X Oncidium [Onc.] Fort Point) X Bratonia [Brat.] Memoria Donald Christian. Had I known the name would be this complicated, I would have passed. Sighing!

I probably should have put this Aerangis [Aergs.] punctata in the anticipation thread because the flowers have not fully opened yet but I promise to post again when all is open:

Encyclias ( naranjapatensis x alata), is really opening up now.

The sponge orchid (aka. Vaughnara [Vnra.] Fiftieth Anniversary) seems happy as a clam. I wonder if the sponge holds salt?
