I like the idea of using pollen from a particular daylily to cross with many others. I still haven't had success yet with freezing pollen though. I think typically, most folks (like me) just cross with whatever is blooming that day. I have a fondness for Dragonfly Dawn and it's children seedlings. If I could spread pollen around ... that would be the pollen I would use on everything! Born to Be Wild is another one that I have children from and would like to use the pollen from those as well. I happen to like fancy and ruffled patterned blooms and both Dragonfly Dawn genes and Born to Be Wild genes appeal to me.
