Our Epiphyllum oxypetalum plants are putting on a pretty display here at the end of the Summer. The buds are timed to open in succession, which is nice too since we are treated to a fragrant show of a couple of blooms several days in a row!
It is already too chilly to sit outside in the evening to watch them, so after the first blooms on Sunday night which btw were still open the next ( early) morning to take a picture, I pulled both plants inside. It was really nice to see them opening last night and just now! They are particularly huge this time and fill up the house with their wonderful fragrance.
There are more buds in the works.
As size comparison - the Euphorbia x lomi measures 4 and 1/2 feet in height. The Summer was good to them!
