Jon - So glad that your DD x DD survived. It looks great! I am very interested in what kind of bloom it produces. I hope you will post a photo of it when it does bloom. Thumbs up

DD has awesome genes, IMHO. My newest 2 seedlings of the same cross are also sending up their first scapes. Apparently THIS is the time it blooms every year. Odd that my other seedling that bloomed a year ago for the first time didn't bloom until summer. And it is not sending up scapes yet either. Must be picking up some characteristics further back in it's genetic family. You just never know what you will get!

I am sure you are going to be seeing more and more scapes now that Spring has arrived. The scapes kind of blend in with the foliage and then all of a sudden you see them sticking up! Always a nice surprise!

Webster's pink wonder and Wise Whiskers are two really beautiful plants! I think you are going to have a lot of fun hybridizing those two! I look forward to your bloom photos! Thumbs up
