Yes, I remember very well going down to pick up the developed film and wondering what they were photos of and why out of a roll of 36 I only had four photos. I always liked they didn't charge for the ones you couldn't make out. I had some very cheap envelopes I picked up.
Most cell phones these days you can call next door and it sounds like your calling India! Rolling on the floor laughing
Really I did like the landline way better, but the digital photography is much easier and you get it instantly and can often save shots with photo editing you would never have been able to see with the film cameras. Just like most people don't know how to use 90 percent of their phones capabilities and apps, you can ignore 90 percent of the new do everything cameras and just point and shot with automatic modes. It won't be right every time, but it will look pretty darn good most of the time. Plus if you don't like them, just delete them, no processing fees at all, take 10 pics if you need to, no extra cost. Unlike phones, I do think cameras are getting better and better at what they are actually suppose to do, and that is take pictures.
