Fred - That pink bloom is really unusual (to me)! I love it! Lovey dubby Lovey dubby Lovey dubby And the other one isn't too shabby either.

I had one seedling bloom (first time) yesterday:

Another sibling of "Laughing Clown x Instant Graffiti". I love the genes in this cross. Tall, sturdy scapes with 3 branches and 16 buds. 27" tall with 6" blooms. I can't help but wonder how it will do next year since it I've read it takes about 3 years for the plants to stabilize. This cross (with all the siblings) is sure putting on a show in my yard. I am curious to see if it reblooms later in the season. It also seems to show a favorable amount of rust resistance. Some very nice qualities!

Afternoon photo showing some fading of color, but it is still lovely. This shows a side view of the bloom. You can see I tagged (my hand-pollination) with a pink paper clip.:

I need to get some of those little tiny tags to mark my crosses. The sun tends to fade out any writing I do using marker or even pencil. So I hope the color on the clip lasts long enough for me to collect any seeds to know the pollen parent.

Today, I had 2 new (first time to bloom) flowers in my newest daylily bed.

This cross is "Cedar Point x unknown". It was a gift seed from a win on LA. It has a 20" tall scape, 5" bloom, with 6 buds total. Has some rust on the leaves. It seemed to have a hard time opening this morning. I hope the following blooms open easier.

Another sibling of Galaxy Explosion x Lily Munster .... I really like the bloom, but the weight from the bloom flopped the scape over, so I had to stake it. Short scape at 8", 6 1/2" bloom, with 6 buds. A tiny bit of rust on a couple leaves. I sure love the bloom. Will cross it with a spider type with a taller, sturdier scape and more blooms to see what I can get. Always interesting when growing crosses as the possibilities are nearly endless!
