Hey! I stumbled across a picture of this this a.m.......now know what it is.

It's Leucadendron liniafolium......

Mine is still hanging in there even though repotted. The other Aussies that I brought home have done incredibly well once gotten into the ground, so this guy is finally going into the ground today now that I know what it is....

Nope, I was wrong...it is not leucandendron linifolium....it has 'balls' only at the ends of stems / branches. My plant has them along the length of the stems / branches also. Another friend though calothamnus rupestris which does have 'balls' along the branches, but they are 'furry', not 'scaled' as cones as mine are.
I could be wrong...
