Disonycha glabrata, is the official name of the darn little beetle. I always thought amaranth was a grain crop. Is it just a weed too? I see that it is actually used as a flower. I still think the little pointy ones are butterfly weed. I am going to post this on the ID forum and see if anyone recognizes it as a flower.
