Zuzu, mine opened up yesterday too, not sure if they are Black Gamecock or the other dark one Mike sent. Mike said these dark ones were larger than Black Gamecock and mixed in with some that are lavender and lilac with a touch of purple. Looks like that's what you have there Zuzu, the lavender. The ones I had tagged as Black Gamecock were eaten by the gophers the same year I planted them, I didn't catch it soon enough.
I'll get a picture later today of this purple one, I have them in two locations.
