No. The seed casing is tough if dry. I was having the same issue the first time I sprouted Adenium seed. I lost a few before I realized the problem.
I moved the pot to a shady area, misted them well with chamomile tea, then covered with a glass dome to keep the humidity high.. By next morning, most had shed their (now soft) seed coat.
I did take a sharp toothpick and tease off a few others so I could get the seedlings back out into the sun. I didn't want to have to go through a hardening off process by leaving them in a greenhouse environment too long.
