We found that while effective for a while, the animals soon became wary of the location and would avoid only that area. The lights and water units were the same, as the critters became used to the lights and spray and would avoid those areas. Depending on the size of the area you want to cover, it may require more units than you care to purchase with its' 30 ft coverage.
