I contacted the lady I got it from last August and she said they added Velvet Throne to their garden last spring but it's planted nowhere near Song Writer. It does also look a lot like
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Black Cherry Magnum') so I've sent an e-mail to her asking if perhaps they grow that one.
I flipped my photo of NOT Song Writer to compare to the angle of florange's database picture of 'Velvet Throne'. They do look similar but so many look the same to my eyes. :)
I'm new to DL's and so many of them look alike. I'm just going to call this one "NOT Song Writer".
