Carol, tell me more about the coral epi. It is a new plant for me.

A few more things are blooming for me:

This is the Dwarf poinciana. It only stands about five feet tall which is good because I have to protect it from frost.

Then there is the jacaranda tree. At forty feet or so, it is big enough to take care of itself. In full bloom, it is a traffic stopper.

I'm not very artsy but this is nice photo of the Canary Island date palm from under the jacaranda tree.

Finally, it is gardenia season and here are the pair that flank the front entry. What a wonderful fragrance when coming or going.
