Now I know why I have lost the nice Austin roses that were planted over the years, in the long borders....VOLES!
We just learned of them this year. Everytime I would plant a rose there, it would mysteriously die.
If only they had not devoured those 250+ tulips, they would not have a bounty on their heads!
DBH says "The tulips did them in!".
