Typical tangled mass of 'Red Alert' stem bulblets, many of which were as large as mother bulb, itself. Overall, the bulbs of Longiflorum-Asiatic cultivar 'Red Alert' run small compared to the general Asiatic population but produce a very sturdy plant about 44 inches in height with a typical bud count of 18 to 24 at maturity. Heavy petal substance, Very light spicey fragrance. Photos taken Oct. 13th, 2013.
