Some other related moths in the Noctuidae would have similar looking pupae, and it is a large family, see:

So not every lookalike pupa we all find is going to be this exact same moth species necessarily. No reason, then, for anyone else who finds one not to incubate it like Toni did if you want to try and narrow yours down more precisely Smiling
