Sidney, he's so cute.

Good luck with your plants, Ted.
Though I've only been growing coleus for a couple of years, they never cease to amaze me with how tough they can be. We just returned last night from a week long Michigan vacation. My friend watered all my pots for me while we were gone. I think some were actually over watered, and lost some leaves, but they look like they'll be fine. She said she didn't water the stuff in the ground unless it wilted a lot, but most everything looks like it will be OK. Temps were in the 80s and 90s and we've had no rain in 2 weeks.

It's 90° now with a heat index of 92, and temp isn't at peak for the day yet. This heat and humidity are oppressive, too hot to do anything outside now. My plants all need weeded, pinched, deadheaded... but it's not gonna happen in this heat. I loved the weather in Michigan- cooler with no humidity! (I just couldn't take those winters...)
