Yes Elaine the temp has been rising but its a strictly inside plant and the bare stems are from dropped leaves and we don't water it till it dripps out the bottom just light watering every morning and night but the soil does get dry through the course of the day from the heat coming off the window that's why my Persian shield does so good it sits atop a water pan so is not to soak but the water evaporate and make humidity
