My friend sent me a few cuttings several weeks ago. Meanwhile, my Mom got very sick so those cuttings have been in water for a while, (no time to stick them in pots). I planted them tonight. They did have some roots, but the stems don't look too great. I hope they didn't rot. This happens every time I try to root them in water. I have much better luck sticking them into potting soil.
