I have never heard of those Tuscaleros, Sunshine. Do you have a photo?
I have a Tuscarora Crape Myrtle, I had 2 but one was in the wrong place for such a big CM so it got yanked.
My Tuscarora is an odd colored pink. It doesn't really coordinate well with regular pinks but has the best huge bloom stalks.
I just love crape myrtles. So many gorgeous colors now.
