Dear Lee, nice to hear from you again. Guinness is a stout and is an acquired taste. Bitter is our traditional drink, although the youngsters drink lager! Nice pie and a pint mate, a great British tradition.
The pub is a social place, as well as somewhere to have drink. You can check on all your friends etc. to see if they are all right!
Keep well and warm from a snow and ice bound England.
Regards.
Neil.
