Dear Linda, thank you very much for your comments. Winchester is not very old to some places, it is because it is so condensed that people like the City centre! It makes it easy to see a lot in a day, though most people only ever get to the Cathedral, which is a shame. There is a mass amount of beauty around Winchester, unfortunately the Tourists are not interested in nature or wildlife.
That is why I have done two Articles; the City centre and then outside the walled City with its wildlife and then how the people live! I live on a tight budget so can only do so many Articles, so this was an opportunity I could not miss. Plus I love the place as well, which does help.
As you may realize there is only so much you can put on an Article or people get bored, I already put a lot of pictures on all mine so did not do the other side of Winchester!
Glad you enjoyed it though and look out for Part 2.
