It suddenly occurred to me what some of the source of confusion might be? It seems there is a sprig of something growing in front of the Little Miss Sunshine leaf. Is it possible there was some confusion, with thinking that perhaps I was saying the tiny sprig was the hosta? Shrug! Confused

This was a close-up photo of a few of the leaves taken late in the season when the foliage was declining. At that point in the season, it was very bleached out, almost white.

I did go out and get a photo of it just now when it's still kind of a limey green.

Just uploaded the photo. It is still quite chartreuse, but looks paler because of the sun-dappling.

I really like it--it's interesting the way it changes color.
