This rose is a really tough little plant. I did heavy mulch and burlap wrap the first winter, but I've done nothing at all for winter protection since then. Almost all of my roses, including this one, suffer winter die-back anyway, no matter what, but this one bounces back quickly after a late winter/early spring trim.
