The seller sent me another rooted plant. The first pkant rotted compketelt through, as did the branches i cut off.

One of the branches on the replacement plant was broken but less than halfway through when it arrived. I have had it taped up for almost 3 weeks hoping it would heal I noticed the little branch was rotted today. And now i see this. Should i cut the branches off? The cutting is a good 12-13" size. Should iput it somewhere out of the rain? Cinnamon on the wound? It seems I am having a challenging time with JL Pink Pansy. Funny, since i bought it rooted so as not to have this kind of trouble.
