It is spring blooming though , small less noticeable , The yellowing leaves and bright green larger leaves at the end of the branches seemingly smooth highly ridged leaves , suggests Ulmus Minor ,also
European elm meant to replace others after Dutch elm disease
In the Butterfly garden if a plant is not chewed up I feel like a failure
