I also started New Orleans Lady from a cutting this spring and it is making huge leaves just like yours. It has given me a couple of blooms already, but they were not double yet. I guess it takes a little time to get into full production.
As the sun angle gets lower, my plant will get more sun and I'm hoping that will inspire it to double up the blooms.
