This another one I added in 2009. I bought it and I also received some in a trade. It has increased very nicely here in zone 5b. I dug some out last summer and sent some to another ATP member and started me a me clump!

Mine comes in at 18-20 inches tall. Not sure about bud count but it does send up lots of scapes with blooms for a long time. It is not a reliable rebloomer here and it may not be many blooms. But most years I usually get at least a little rebloom on it. Some years it does not rebloom until September or October. It does go dormant here but often one of the first to peek thru in the spring.

Indian Giver is a great short one for the front of the bed. It is great to use multiple clumps of to make a border. The shade of purple is great to mix with about any other colors in your beds.

This is an photo of mine in the database and shows buds and scapes pretty clearly to get an idea of branching and bud count.

Photo from this year. Bloom this year started the last week of June & this photos was taken on July 17.
