If your cutting came from above a Y, it will bloom a lot sooner, but some people don't like the more shrubby, short shape the plant makes from those cuttings.

A couple I've had from cuttings below the Y have gone up nearly 6ft before dividing and blooming. I like the shorter, quicker blooming version a lot better.
