Susie, I checked and Tucson's average rainfall is about 11 inches. I am involved with Rainlog.org. I report everyday on the amount of rain in my gauge. This is done all year long. They are trying to get a better measurement of how much and where the rain is falling in Tucson so there are volunteers in all parts of town doing this. I have always said that no ones lives at the airport , but that is always where the measurements officially are taken. Just wish I had more to report !! Rolling on the floor laughing
