That is a wonderful photo and story, Teresa. I think I recently posted about when my love of irises began during iris week...... I think the thread was 'when did you fall in love?' by muddymitts. I wish I had more photos of our gardens and working in them as a child. A garden was such a common thing to have that it would have seemed odd to take a photo of it.
